As to somebody else, I am sorry for her anger, but would act again as I have done. It is a severe pull at her time of life, but Mr Charlton gives good hopes; he called this morning to say he had heard of an ass that could go down Monday if none near Wrest. Pray desire Mr Bolding to write him a medical bulletin how my mother goes on, for that will help us to see our way clearer. [It seems she had sent medical man , Charlton, on own responsibility, though after discussing with Bell, and he went sooner than expected]. Send word if anything should be sent down that I can get. Have sent by coach veal cakes to boil into jelly or broth; if my mother would take a little, it would be a good thing; no chicken to be had, but Richardson says there are various ways of preparing and pounding chicken. Lord Dover anxious, approves our conduct. Have answered letters about mother from Mrs Wray, Mrs Jeffreys, the Cambridges, Lady Ann Capel and Mrs Carew.
