    i) Cornelius Pateman Herbert of Setch, Norfolk, brewer & wife Ann ii) Mathew Vincent Herbert of Girtford, merchant & wife Mary Ann iii) Reverend Samuel Bull of Bassingbourne, Cambridgeshire, minister of the Gospel iv) John Rogers of the same, grocer & draper v) John Willis of Biggleswade, woolstapler vi) Vincent Herbert of Lynn, Norfolk, gentleman Elizabeth Stevens of Biggleswade widow recites: will of Dennis Herbert 1802 devising copyhold property in Biggleswade (charged with £15 per annum to each of vi) at 80 years) to eldest son George Herbert who was admitted on death of his father. recites: will of George Herbert 1808 devising all Biggleswade property (charged with £50 per annum to Elizabeth Taylor & £20 per annum to Ann Maria Taylor) to brothers C.P. & N. V. Herbert; had surrendered premises to use of will, died 1808 when brothers each admitted to moiety of said copyhold recites: Lease & Release 29 & 30 June 1810 by which lord of the manor enfranchised the property now: in consideration of: £437.10.0 plus £104.12.0 for timber & pollards totalling £542.2.0 paid to i) & ii) by iii), i) & ii) by request of iii) convey to iv) on trusts as iii) shall appoint: - 2 parcels of meadow 1 acre 2 roods in Back Meadow Biggleswade formerly occupied by William Hughes : East river : West Lord Ongley the 2 pieces being divided from each other by meadow of Earl Spencer - close of meadow in Back Mead : North Mr Dolton : West Lord Ongley : East river which divides the close from wharf of Messrs Hogg & Co. 3 acres 2 rood being part of the 5 acres meadow described in recited Lease & Release. i) & ii) covenant to levy fine to v) vi) release iii) from annuities of £50, £15 & £15 on premises witnesses: Isaac Hindley, H.O.
