- Scope and ContentReturned from London yesterday, where they had spent one day in order to carry 'our young people' to Campden House [school]. Reference to venison, believed to have come from Wrest, in which case, thanks should be passed to Lady Grey. Due to set out on Thursday next for Lymington; had considered Bognor, but there is not a house to be had. 'Lady Grantham tells me she has been performing wonders, in sailing out Spit Head and dining on board the Stag with Mrs Eliot and poor Mrs Yorke, whose spirits have received a great shock by the terrible accident that befell her two maids.'
