    i) Margaret Rudd late of Biggleswade now of Ampthill ,widow of Edward Rudd late of Biggleswade, gentleman, who was grandson heir & devisee in fee of Edward Rudd of Biggleswade, long since deceased ii) Richard Edmund Rudd of Harcourt Buildings, Inner Temple, London, gentleman, eldest son & heir of Edward Rudd the grandson, iii) Isaac Hindley of Baldock, Hertfordshire, gentleman, sole executor of Thomas Barns, late of the same, gentleman, deceased, who was surviving executor & trustee of Robert Thurgood, late of Baldock, brewer, deceased iv) Richard Rudd of Great Queen Street, St. Giles in the Fields, Middlesex, gentleman v) John Foster of Biggleswade merchant recites: Lease & Release 30 & 31 August 1769 (i) Edward Rudd the grandson (ii) Margaret Rudd, then Margaret Miles, of Worcester, spinster (iii) Mathew Duane esquire, since deceased. said Richard Rudd by which (i) released hereditaments to (iii) as trustees to use of (i) for life, then to (ii) as a jointure, an annual sum of £100 issuing out of the hereditaments recites: will of Edward Rudd 1797 [see recital in X440/204] & death of testator 1797 whereas: v) has agreed to purchase property; i) has agreed to release same from annual sum of £100 & all her right to dower recites: mortgage of all the hereditaments which stand charged with the payment to iii) of £4,368 & agreement that John Bricheno, purchaser of other parts of the premises charged with the mortgage, shall pay his purchase money (£2,577) to iii) as part payment of the mortgage & that v) shall pay out of his purchase money £2091 to iii) as discharge of the remainder of the mortgage & that he shall pay the rest of his purchase money (£4,351.10.0) to i). whereas: i) & ii) have surrendered the copyhold premises to v) now: in consideration of: £2,091 paid by v) to iii) £4,351 paid by v) to i) conveyance to v) of: - freehold part of parcel of Every Years Land called Holme Side Piece & Mare Hole Close, formerly 3 pieces called the Eight Acres in Gallowditch, Holmeside Piece & Marehole Close, in Holmeside, Biggleswade : East & North East Great North Road : West road from Biggleswade to Holme : North garden close called Wren Park : South land of Earl Spencer in occupation of George William Munk - freehold part of the Delves 5 acres : North Blyth Foster in occupation of Jeremiah Banks : South George Musgrave esquire in occupation of William Race : East road from Biggleswade to Holme : West land of Blyth Foster in occupation of Jeremiah Banks - 2 parcels formerly meadow, now arable in Hitch Mead, one being 8 poles in the middle of the meadow, the other at the South end called Long Piece. - 5 pieces arable in Hitch Mead otherwise the South Field -10 acres meadow in Northill near Biggleswade bridge called the Bailiffs Meads & Midsummer Meadow, formerly Midsummer Ground but since the Enclosure of Northill has been several grounds witnesses: George Herbert, Biggleswade merchant H.
