i) George Norman senior of Biggleswade, yeoman ii) George North of Biggleswade, yeoman Peter Fayrie of Edworth whereas: marriage intended between George Norman & Elizabeth Retchford of Biggleswade, widow - 5 acres every years land at Callow Ditch [or Gallow?] - 5 acres land on Upper Hungerhill - 2 parcels meadow in Hitchmeade, one in middle of said meadow 8 perches, the other at South end of said meadow called the Long Peece - land as in X440/181 omitting the 1½ rood in Stone Crosse Furlong [fewer abuttals given for each piece, usually first two only; for: Cock, read: Cox, for: Upper Middle Furlong, read: Middle Furlong, for: Mittle Meare alias Mare Hole, read: Marehole, for: Long Heithill, Long Hate Hill, for: Long Wiston, read: Long Whitston, for: Bradway Knott Furlong, read: Breadway Knott Furlong] all of which premises contain 21 acres now in occupation of i) to be held by ii) to use of Elizabeth intended wife of i) for her jointure remainder to rightful heirs of i) Livery of Seisin Endorsed witnesses: Jonathan Francis, Robert Retchford, William Croot also endorsed agreement that if marriage does not take place this deed & also bond will be void (Fayrie signs Feery)
