    i) Edward Rudd of Biggleswade, gentleman ii) Thomas Stanhope of Craven Street, Middlesex, esquire recites: Assignment of same date to Heylock Kingsley recites: X440/150 (in which the consideration was the same money as in aforesaid deed) whereas: in above 2 deeds provisos state that mortgage was to be paid at rate of 4% whereby it is doubtful whether the said moneys can be transferred at a higher rate of interest than 4%; to secure principal with interest at 5% to ii). i) has entered bond in £7,600 conditioned for payment of £3,800 at 5% & by another surrender of same date as this deed has surrendered to Lord of manor of Biggleswade - parcel called New Pasture or the Sheep Walk - right of common for 170 sheep & other cattle without stint in manor of Biggleswade to be void on repayment of £3,800 with interest at 5% whereas: as further security ii) has caused £200 to be insured on life of i) in London Assurance Office for term of 1 year now: i) covenants that bond, surrender & insurance shall remain to ii) as a collateral security for payment of the £3,800 & interest; covenant that if i) pays the £3,800 the surrender will be void & the insurance will be assigned to i) witnesses: William Roos, John Barnadiston
