Probate of the Will of (Major) Charles Norris of Little Gonerby, Grantham, Lincolnshire, gentleman
- to Charles Henry Faithfull, Hardingstone, Northamptonshire, clerk, and William Norris, Tenbury, Worcestershire, gentleman (who are also appointed executors and trustees) in trust
household goods, plate etc., money, securities, railway shares and all other personal estate
trust to permit wife Anne to have use of household goods etc. for life and after her death to be sold and proceeds held on trust as for rest of her personal estate
Personal estate to be turned into money and ivested and proceeds paid to wife for life and after her death to be divided equally among children except eldest son Lewin Cholmley Ralston Norris, who is already sufficiently provided for under will of his late uncle, Reverend Thomas Elye Norris. Children's shares to be paid at 21 and in meantime used for their maintenance
£100 was bequeathed to daughter Constance by will of John Lily Ostler. This sum be be brought hotchpotch by said daughter so she shall not (after taking said £100 into account) receive more than one equal part of said trust
All real and personal estate he is entitled to at his death by way of mortgage bequeathed to executors
