    i) Thomas Borrett of the Inner Temple, London, esquire ii) William Paine of Biggleswade, miller recites: 2 Decrees in Chancery by which all property of Sir Thomas Bromsall of Biggleswade, knight, deceased, in Biggleswade, Beeston, Northill, Sandy, Potton & Hatch or elsewhere in Bedfordshire (not comprised in allotment of Chancery to his coheirs & mentioned in 1st Decree) were charged with annuity of £500 to Dame Mary Bromsall, his widow, for life & these premises were directed to be sold towards payment of the annuity with arrears & interest, which came to £15,413 7s 4½d which was more than the estate was worth. recites: Lease & Release 15 & 16 April 1741 by which the coheirs released to i) - all freehold hereditaments of Sir Thomas Bromsall in Biggleswade, Beeston, Northill, Sandy, Potton & Hatch whereas: Samuel Cockayne & wife Catherine, & Bromsall Throckmorton (the coheirs) have been admitted to the property of Sir Thomas Bromsall which was copyhold of the Manor of Biggleswade & have surrendered the same to i) who has been admitted by attorney recites: Agreement between i) & ii) for sale of tenement & ground for £180; surrender by i) to use of ii) & admission of ii) now in consideration £180 - the estate surrendered to ii) witness Henry Williams Elisha Briscoe
