    25, 26 March 1790 ia) Sophia Knapp, Park Street, St George Hanover Square, Middlesex, spinster ib) Harriet Knapp, same address daughters and coheirs of Matthew Knapp of Little Linford, Buckinghamshire by his wife Catherine, only child of Thomas Uthwat of Great Linford, Buckinghamshire, esquire ii) William Mann, Middle Temple, London, gentleman iii) Thomas Drake, Middle Temple, gentleman Conveyance (lease and release) by i) to ii) in consideration £1 being deed to lead the use of a Common Recovery on property including - land called Sandy Hill now part arable part pasture adjoining the Meadow :E. land in possession Richard Joseph :S.E. the lane leading to Wing and by land in possession of W Johnson containing in all 13 acres 1 rood 22 perches -all tithes of premises Recovery to use (as regards 2 moieties) of ia) and ib) Easter Term 30 George III (1790), Common Recovery as above William Mann, gentleman, demandant Thomas Drake, tenant Sophia and Harriet Knapp, vouchees -4 messuages, 8 gardens, 400 acres land, 100 acres meadow, 60 acres pasture, pasture for 18 cows and Common of pasture in Surcott otherwise Southcourt in Linslade and tithes 3/4 August 1795 i) Harriet Knapp, sister of Sophia deceased. Intestate ii) William Piggott, Edgmond, Shropshire, clerk iiia) John Grant, Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, tallow chandler iiib) Peter Bassett, Leighton Buzzard, draper Conveyance (lease and release) by i) to iiia) in consideration £6,000, being deed to lead the use of a Common Recovery (see above) on property including 10s paid by iiib) to i) - all that piece of land called Sandy Hill subject to rights of way - all manner of tithes subject to a lease of 500 years Reciting: Corbet Kynaston then late of Shrewsbury, Shropshire by his will of 6 January 1734 devised his lands to John Walcot, Richard Lyster and Adam Ottley for 500 years from the time of his death. That Richard Lyster having survived his co-trustees appointed his wife Anne sole executor That Anne Lyster died 1781 executed his will and appointed William Piggott and Honour Thursley executors That the premises was assigned to William Piggott as surviving executor for the remainder of the 500 years In pursuance of said agreement and in consideration of 10s paid by Peter Bassett to William Piggott on request of Harriet Knapp and on nomination of John Grant did bargain, sell and assign to Peter Bassett - all the lands, tithes and commons (as above) 24, 25 July 1838 ia) John Grant ib) Hannah, wife of above ii) Charles Ridgway, Leighton Buzzard, draper iii) Charles Willis, Winslow, Buckinghamshire, gentleman (executor) Conveyance (appointment and release) by i) to ii) in consideration £3,500 on property - called Sandy Hill, therein described, formerly formed part of Three Corner Close containing 11 acres 3 roods 13 perches :E. and part S. by the Turnpike Road leading from Leighton Buzzard to Wing and Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire :part of N. by a garden adjoining the road from Leighton Buzzard to the railway station :W. by a meadow called Sandy Hill Meadow, 8 acres 1 rood 22 perches forming one close called Sandy Hill and the remaining 3 acres 1 rood 31 perches called Three Corner Close - and all tithes 25 July 1838 i) John Grant ii) Charles Ridgway that i) should have safe custody of the deeds and produce to ii) when required 25 July 1838 ia) John Dollin Bassett, Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, esquire deceased ib) William Exton, Hitchin, Hertfordshire, esquire ic) Samuel Reeve, Leighton Buzzard, brewer ii) John Grant iii) Charles Ridgway iv) Frederick Willis, Leighton Buzzard, gentleman Assignment by i) to iv) in consideration £1..10 (10s paid to each) - all that parcel of land at Sandy Hill - and all tithes Reciting the will of Corbet Kynaston; 6 January 1734 and lease and release of 3, 4 August 1795 that Peter Bassett died 18 September 1821 appointing by his will 3 July 1816 i) executors that at the request of John Grant and Charles Ridgway the executors i) assigned the parcel of land to Frederick Willis in trust for Charles Ridgway
