- Recites Letters Patent, 13 April 1646, £8,912..2s..9d owing by the King to John Ashburnham; £2,000 owing to Lettice, Viscountess Falkland; and £2,000 owing to Nicholas; in consideration of which following granted to them:
... all those parks called the Great Park, Brogborough Park and Beckerings Park, parcel of the Honour and manor of Ampthill
Ashburnham has paid Henry Viscount Falkland, son of Lettice, the money due for her right to the parks, and has promised to pay Nicholas £1,500 for his right
