    - recites indenture under the great seal (demise for 99 years), dated 15 June 1624: James I to Sir Henry Hobart, Sir James Fullerton, Sir John Walter, Sir Thomas Trevor, (trustees) ... honour and manor of Ampthill (which included the 3 parks); warren of conies, meadow called Park meadow in Ampthill; the manor of Millbrook and warren of conies; demised in trust for Charles I. Lease is now vested in parties of ii), except the Queen, in trust for her. These, by virtue of a warrant from the Queen 4 July instant, surrender to the King; ... Ampthill Great Park and all appurtenances in Ampthill and Millbrook; Brogborough Park and all appurtenances in Ridgmont and Lidlington; Beckerings Park and all appurtenances in Ridgmont and Lidlington and Steppingley 7 tags, 6 seals, that of the Queen having been cut off.
