With copy of memorandum regarding vesting assent 1935 Loose inside: Acknowledgment by Sydney Richard Wells, Felmersham Grange, M.P., of the receipt of £20 from Listones Ltd in discharge of their liability to erect a fence and stile etc., under the provisions of a covenant in a deed of conveyance of 29 Jan 1936 20 Feb 1936 Indemnity by Baroness Ampthill to Listones against claims for succession duty on the estate 29 Jan 1936 Memorandum of agreement, between Lord Ampthill and Messrs. Ayres and Waine, Tithe Farm, Stevington, regarding the lease of pasture called The Fillands (28 1/2 acres) from 8 April - 25 Dec 1935 at rent of 45 shillings per acre. £10 to be paid on signing this agreement and balance (£53) on 8 June and 8 August 1935, signed Lord Ampthill 8 April 1935 With note by Lord Ampthill about above lease 'The wrong copy has been returned and it is not properly signed, but I did not think it worth while to trouble Mr Ayres, who seemed to be a rather untutored man when he came to see me' 13 April 1935
