    Conveyance Parties: (i) James Trapp of Bredon [Gloucestershire], labourer; (ii) George William Saunders of 66 Saint Loyes Street, Bedford, grocer Reciting: - lease and release of 1-2 March 1836 between (1) William Greenhill, clerk; (2) James Wadman Alexander, clerk and Caroline, his wife; (2) Thomas Gwyn Elger and John Elger creating two annual rent charges of £1/4/- and £1/16/- respectively on (a); - indenture of 4 March 1836 between (1) George Peregrine Nash and (2) Thomas Gwyn Elger and John Elger in which (1), who had lately bought the other part of (a) charged it with the annual rent charges to (2) totalling £3 and indemnifying them against payment of the sum themselves; - death of John Barnes, late of Arlesey, steward of the County Lunatic Asylum, then of 13 Portland Terrace, Saint John's Wood [Middlesex] on 23 March 1887 an intestate bachelor seized of (a) leaving (i) his eldest nephew as his heir at law Operative Part: - (i) conveyed (a)-(b) to (ii) for £1,050 Property: (a) land in Bedford, Saint Paul opposite the County Gaol, formerly part of an orchard and garden occupied with the Dragon or Green Dragon containing N-S 17 feet, on E side 118 feet and on W side 118 feet 11 inches bounded: N by Saint Loyes Street; S by Brace Street; E by property of George Larkins, now Ebenezer Burr , W by property formerly of Mrs Crosthwaite; (b) messuage and shop many years since erected by James Maynard on part of (a) Witness:: - George Holborn Turner of 65 George Street, London, solicitor
