    To be buried in Clapham church To wife - jewels and ornaments, coach and 2 best coach horses, she to enjoy mansion house at Clapham, household goods and furniture, orchards, gardens, warren, dovehouse, and 1 stable, until male heir is of age; and whereas testator "by ploughing up some grounds parcel of her jointure impaired the yearly value thereof about £15 per annum", wife is to have annuity of £20 out of new enclosed grounds called Lea field, New field and the 40 acres; also recites that by marriage settlement parcels of land (125 acres) then occupied by Laurence Williamson and Thomas Fage limited to wife, all which have been laid to other lands and enclosed "and cannot now be well found without much difficulty and disturbance", wife is to have in lieu of such lands "which in the best of times never yielded a greater rent than £31..5s per annum", annuity of £32 out of Lea field, New field and 40 acres, which lands to be held by executors in trust for payment Also to executors manor of Foxton, Cambridgeshire, in trust for maintenance of Wentworth Taylor, eldest son, until 21, and sons Thomas and Compton, they having £30 each while they shall continue at school; 1 son shall be bred up to the study of the law and to have £50 while at university and inns of court; other younger son to be placed apprentice to "some able merchant of eminent tradesman" in London, he having £10 per annum until 21 To servants John Newton, Cutberd Creed, Matthew Cleaton and William Earl £4 per annum for life 40s per annum to poor of Clapham until heir is 21 Executors to raise out of remainder of rents etc. £500 for daughter Ursula in augmentation of the potion of £1,500 payable under testator's Marriage Settlement and £2,500 for younger sons Thomas and Compton Also £10 to poor of Bedford St Paul "where I was born", £5 to poor of Bolnhurst, 40s to brother in law Edward Bosden, esquire, 40s to all brothers and sister to buy rings, £10 to goddaughter Mrs Ursula Sanders and to goddaughter Ursula Eccleston, £20 to godson Richard Taylor (son of brother Humphrey), £10 to niece Mrs Ciceley Eccleston, £20 to Richard Parker of Park End, and £10 to Mrs Goddard his mother Executors to receive no interest of debt owing from Mr Phillips of Felmersham in case he pays the principal Servant William Bean holds at will a small piece of meadow containing 1 acre in Oakley; he is to have it rent free for 7 years Executors Sir William Beecher of Renhold, knight, William Boteler of Biddenham, esquire, John Gardner of Bedford, esquire Witnesses: George Wells, Jo.Woolfe, William Earle Seal on tag, papered
