D) Samuel Lovell E) Theed Pearse, senior - messuage in High Street, Bedford in parish of St mary, formerly known as the New White Hart, afterwards in occupation of William Gregory, Messrs William and Richard Parker, and William King, and now Samuel Lovell. North Windmill public house once in occupation of John Lilbourn, now James Harle. South (part) lease hold premises of Hospital of St John the Baptist East High Street leading to the bridge. - wharf and coal yard, now in occupation of Samuel Lovell, coveyed to Samuel Lovell by William Gregory. - all said ditch etc for residue of lease of 99 years. - shop and gateway etc for residue of term of 40 years as in lease of 23 August 1823. 1) has requested 2) to lend him £1000. Now in consideration of £1000, 1) appoints to 2) - coal yard etc - shop etc for remainder of terms of 99 and 40 years, except last 3 days of each term, reserved to 1) Interest 4% Premises to be insured for £1,200 Signed 1) endorsed receipt Witness Theed Pearse, junior.
