    to be buried in a decent but private manner at discretion of executor. To son, William Findlay, - messuage or tenement known as the White Hart, Ampthill, now in the occupation of John Blakely, with all appurtenances - another messuage or tenement with outhouses, stables, coach-house, and part of the garden with the summerhouse, in Ampthill, in the occupation of Thomas Armstrong Esquire - tenement adjoining last mentioned, now in the occupation of Michael Morris, blacksmith - messuage or tenement, malting, yards, orchards and gardens, formerly in the occupation of Charles Dymoke, gentleman, deceased, now in the occupation of Testator, Mrs Terry, ... Dix, widow, and testaor's son in law, Thomas Hollingworth - also three closes of pasture or sward ground near adjoining to the last mentioned messuage, known as Upper Close, the Middle Close, and the Lower Close, now in the occupation of the said Thomas Hollingworth - another messuage or tenement with outhouses and appurtenances, adjoining Lower Close, and in the occupation of Arthur Wooding and Thomas Sharpe - 2 acres of common field land in Flitwick field, shooting down to the Brook by Yew Greenhouse, now in the occupation of Daniel Wright, gentleman Son William to pay legacy of £15 to grand-daughter Martha Dearmer at the age of 21 Also to son William, - messuage or tenement in Ampthill with yard, garden, orchard, backside and appurtenances now in the occupation of son in law George Gale, and all land in the parishes of Ampthill and Maulden now in the occupation of George Gale, being part of an estate purchased by testator of Thomas Day Esquire, and Catherine, his wife. William to pay principal of £200 and interest due on mortgage of devised premises To daughter Margaret, wife of George Gale - messuage adjoining the last mentioned called the Compass (also under mortgage), and if William Findlay refuse to pay off the mortgage then the whole of the mortgaged property to be given to Margaret to be sold for the payment of the mortgage and all charges incurred by her To daughter Margaret, wife of George Gale - messuage or tenement with outhouse and stables known as the Compasses, late in the occupation of Mr. Daniel Wright, being the residue of the estate purchased of Thomas and Catherine Day.
