    i) James Horsford of Bedford, builder ii) Thomas Davies of Bedford, Esquire Recites: HT1/16/4 & 5 Also recites: Lease for 60 years, 18 January 1834 [see HT1/17/1] NOW consideration: £600 paid by ii) to i), i) grants to ii) - property as in HT1/16/4 & 5 and i) demises to ii) for residue of term of 60 years - two newly built messuages or tenements in Well Street in parish of St. Paul, Bedford, erected by i) since the date of the lease on the site of a messuage late in the occupation of John Frohock which has been pulled down by i), with the outhouses, buildings, yard and garden adjoining. Premises now untenanted :N. Wells Street :W. House and ground of Thomas Lovelidge :S. and E. premises above repayment: £600 with interest at 5% to be paid to ii) at Shirehall, Bedford, on 14 October next i) to pay yearly rent of leasehold premises, and to insure both properties against fire in ''some good public Fire Office'' for the full sum of £600 endorsed: receipt by i) to ii) for £600 witnesses: Alexander Sharman, Solicitor.
