In town a few days ago, saw Mama and sister, Mr Wray, Miss Jemima Yorke, and Papa. The camp: quite the ton to walk there and make parties to drink tea with the officers in their tents; Mrs Barker did with Mr Lake. Going to London was not because I had no deputy, but well knowing one pair of hands is almost impossible to do the business. Walks by riverside almost every night, observe the fishing for salmon, has only met Mr Cambridge. Garden with roses, enjoys being mistress of herself and her actions.
