Abstract of Conveyance in trust (lease and release) [Sarah and Henry Courtman (widow and son and heir respectively of Robert Courtman, deceased) conveyed the premises to Thomas Brace and William Goodhall in trust to be sold in order to repay £300 due to Mark Wayland, £9 due to John Pollard, £50 due to Francis Brace, and £40 due to John Courtman. The £50 due to Francis Brace was by way of a mortgage of the reversion of the property. The premises in Well Street formerly described as "buildings etc." now appear as "a cottage in Well Street ... and ... another cottage or tenement in Well Street". - for full details, see abstract of title, HT1/1/21]
