- Scope and Content–Devises to son Joseph Howes, the moiety of a messuage in Billington in which [blank] Horton lives, with closes belonging : 55 acres in the Fields of Billington; 2 half yards of meadow; a piece called the Fenn End in Long Mead in Billington, several parcels of lot-meadow in Mill Fenn; & 5 cow commons or poles in Summerleys in Billington. Also, the moiety of messuage in Eggington, late in occupancy of Thomas Roberts, now of Richard Tuly, with appurtenant buildings & land in Eggington & Clipston. [All copyhold of the Manor of Leighton Buzzard alias Grovebury]. And also his freehold land in Leighton Buzzard [no details]. To his grandson Joseph Howes (son of his elder son Roger), his land in Slapton, Buckinghamshire. To his daughter Susan Turney, an annuity. To son Roger, 1 shilling. Executor: son Joseph.
