– An acre of sward (being a double headland), in Shenley Hill Field in Leighton Buzzard, shooting to Hapwey Pitts [now written Kaysey Pitts], and abutting on the headland of William Claridge, & late of Mrs Firth, & Long Linslade & Short Linslade Furlongs, abutting on same. Recites Surrender, 1817 of Thomas Clark; for £19.10s. Court of Rev. Theophilus Leigh Cooke & Sir Edward Hyde East, baronet, (Trustees for Chandos Leigh esq.).. Steward Thomas Hill Mortimer. Deputy: D.L.Willis, gentleman.
