– An acre of sward (being a double headland), in Shenley Hill Field in Leighton Buzzard, shooting to Hapwey Pitts, and abutting on the headland of William Claridge, & late of Mrs Firth, & Long Linslade & Short Linslade Furlongs, abutting on same. Recites Surrender of William Atwell & wife 1810; for £24.10s and Admission of William Atwell under Will of Sarah Eavestaff, widow, 1809. Court of Thomas Hill Mortimer, esq. (trustee for James Henry Leigh, esq. farmer to St George’s Chapel Windsor). Steward: the said Thomas Hill Mortimer.
