    – A cottage late divided into two tenements, near Eggington Green in Leighton Buzzard in occupancy of Jonas Balls, a close adjoining and a piece of lammas called the Ren Park, containing 1 rood, bounded south by the spinney of Arthur Clark, east by the close of Samuel Davis, west by the king’s highway called West Lane and north by the road leading to Hockliffe Lane. [late Nash’s property; to which Thomas Skikelthorpe was admitted, 1743]. Court of the Hon. Mary Leigh, farmer to St George’s Chapel, Windsor. Steward: William Hayton, gentleman.
