Abstract of title of Messrs. John & William Fenn to copyhold land held of the Manor of Leighton Buzzard alias Grovebury lying in the fields of Clipson, Eggington & Leighton Buzzard, sold to Mr Samuel Hopkins, butcher (being Lot 1).

Recites Admissions & Surrenders, 1754-1823; the earliest being the Absolute surrender of William Stevens & wife Mary, to William Butterfield of Billington, yeoman, and wife Elizabeth -- 5¼ acres dispersed in the fields of Clipson, Eggington & Leighton Buzzard (late of John & Ann Palmer, & then in occupancy of John Ellingham). And also recites death of Martha Fenn (wife of John Fenn, a great niece of William Buttfield) 1828.
