All of Bedford unless otherwise described. ii) Thomas Kidman of Bedford, gentleman iii) Ebenezer Malden of Bedford, baker, Richard Hensman, butcher, Benjamin Allen, Fellmonger, and John Prole of Cardington, yeoman. Recites: Harpur Trust deeds HT1/10/3 & 4, 6 & 7, and 10. Also reciting: Bunyan Meeting Deeds 1/12-14, conveyance to new trustees of the Meeting House and Burial Ground etc. in Bedford [calendar refs: 1/1-17]; lands in Thurleigh [calendar refs: 6/1-22]; and lands in Colmworth and Eaton Socon [calendar refs: 5/1-36 and 6/14, 19], dated 19/20 July 1774. Also reciting: Bunyan Meeting deeds 4/35-6; Conveyance to new trustees of lands in Goldington, dated 6/7 May 1793 [calendar refs 4/14-45] Also reciting: Conveyance to new trustees (lease and release): 1) Thomas Rush 2) Samuel Hillyard, John Kilpin, Richard Furness, Edward Wells, James Bailey, Thomas Kilpin, Robert Castleman, William Berrill and James Smith Conveyance by 1) to 2) of properties described on trusts: - messuage or tenement in Stagsden with close of pasture adjoining (2 acres) - two other closes of pasture in Stagsden, one called West end Close, and the other North End Pightle (7 acres) - 63 1/2 acres of arable land and leys in the fields of Stagsden All formerly in the occupation of Augustin Somerlin or his undertenant - several pieces of arable land (7 1/2 acres) in Mother field in the parish of Cardington - 2 1/2 acres of Meadow ground in Fenlake Meadow, Cardington, then in the occupation of Thomas Cranfield 14/15 October 1793 Also reciting: Conveyance to trustees (lease and release) 1] John Wilkinson and William Wilkinson 2] James Bailey, Thomas Kilpin, Samuel Hillyard, James Smith and William Berrill Reciting that Martha Furness had devised the property below to 1], her cousins, under the terms of the settlement made on her marriage to Richard Furness [Bunyan Meeting deeds 4/37-8] Now i) grant to ii) - messuage or tenement with yard, garden and appurtenances in the parish of St. Cuthbert, Bedford, then in the occupation of Martha Furness NOW consideration: 10s. apiece paid by 2] to 1], 1] grant the reversion of the property to 2] to be let, and an annuity of £5 paid to the Minister of the Congregation, and the remainder of the rents and profits to be paid to the Poor of the Congregation 25/26 July 1796 Whereas: i) are the surviving trustees named in above recited deeds, and they are desirous of conveying the properties to ii) to the use of themselves and of iii), the latter being appointed as new trustees NOW consideration: 10s. apiece paid by ii) to i), i) convey to ii) in trust for the use of i) and iii) - all the premises mentioned in the above recited deeds witnesses: Ebenezer Harris Benjamin Kilpin signatures: i), ii), and iii) Copy attested by R.H.
