    i) William Halfhead of Bedford, cornfactor ii) John Parker Ames of Bedford, grocer, Sarah Ames of Bedford, spinster, and Thomas Ames of Bedford, shoemaker iii) George Wells of of Bedford, victualler, and John Rawlins of Bedford, banker. Recites HT1/9/12, and that default had been made in payment. Elizabeth Hornbuckle Ames had died and left the property to ii) in her will. There remained £150 owing to i), all interest haven been paid. ii) have agreed to sell the property to George Wells for £500, out of which sum the £150 owing to i) should be paid, and the premises to be assigned to John Rawlins in trust for George Wells NOW consideration: £150 paid by George Wells to i), and 5s. paid by John Rawlins to i), i) demises to John Rawlins for the residue of the term of 1000 years - premises as in HT1/9/12. In trust for the use of George Wells and his heirs endorsed: receipt by i) to George Wells for £150 witnesses: Francis John Budd attorney, Bedford William Hurst, his clerk seals: five applied, with large capital B. signatures: i), ii), and George Wells
