    i) Elizabeth Hornbuckle Ames of Bedford, widow, only daughter and heiress at law of Ann Hornbuckle Eagles, wife of Thomas Eagles, which said Ann Hornbuckle Eagles was the only sister and heiress at law of William Hornbuckle Parker late of Bedford, grocer, deceased ii) William Halfhead of Bedford, cornfactor Recites that i) has applied to ii) for a loan of £150 NOW consideration: £150 paid by ii) to i), i) demises to ii) for 1000 years - messuage, cottage or tenement being the corner house on the west side of Angel Street otherwise Sheeps Chipping in the parish of St. Paul, Bedford, heretofore purchased by William Parker of Thomas Robinson, and sometime since in the occupation of William Parker, afterwards of William Barker, since of John Crawley, late of John Ames, and now of Elizabeth Hornbuckle Ames - messuage, cottage or tenement adjoining the above property and lately erected by i) on the curtilage thereof, now or late in the occupation of the Widow Goddard Repayment: £150 with interest at 5% per annum ... £3..15 on 19 November next ... £153..15 on 19 May 1824 i) to insure the premises and keep them insured against loss or damage by fire in "some good Insurance Office or Company" for the sum of £150 endorsed: receipt by i) to ii) for £150, and also [in pencil and in a later hand] with family tree showing the relationship of i) to William Parker (as outlined above) witnesses: Ralph R.
