The names of many individuals are noted for their roles in the regatta, including: Lt Col W S Chirnside (President), Alderman A A Jones (Chairman) and Alderman J A Canvin (Chair of Executive Committee) with a special mention for Mr J Coughlan from John Bull for the trophies. Entertainment was provided by the Bedford Town Silver Prize Band and many local companies are advertising in the programme.
