- TitleLetter from Mary Yorke to Jemima Yorke. Sent from Haverfordwest: Thanks for letter from Richmond. Hopes Hardwicke will benefit from cold bathing. Daughter Elizabeth now goes every morning into the bathing tub. Return of stray sheep from Tunbridge; expects Lady Mary would find it delightful 1st week, not unpleasant 2nd, tolerable 3rd, bore 4th. Most amusing account of overwhelming reception, especially by lady who rode near 20 miles on horseback to greet her; who now has this lady's gown in her chaise, and need not deliver it again but upon terms, "namely that she shall allow me time every morning to wash my hands and say my prayers and ½ hour every noon to write to your ladyship". Confirmations at St David's. Pembroke. Tenby. Aberguilly. (much detail about tour - very good letter). [Typed transcript available]
