- Lease and Release by way of mortgage for £225 at 5% interest of 23-24 June 1836 from (1) John Dowsett of Bedford, Saint Cuthbert, surgeon to (2) (i), then of Pembroke College, Cambridge, BA secured on (a);
- the mortgage sum of £225 and some interest;
- death of John Dowsett on 10 July 1844 intestate leaving his only child, (ii), as his heir at law
