Scope and Content
A printed copy of an Act of Parliament dated 1740 "for making a Chapel lately built by John Coppin Esquire, at Market Street, in the Parish of Cadington, in the County of Hertford, a perpetual Cure and Benefice; and for other Purposes therein mentioned".
The Act also authorises the establishment and continued maintenance of a related school "for instructing the Youth of ... Market Street aforesaid, in all good Learning and Manners, in the English and Latin tongues".
The document was printed by John Baskett "Printer to the King's most Excellent Majesty 1740".
