Photocopy of programme for Shakespearian Bazaar held at the Corn Exchange on 8th and 9th December 1904 in aid of the Benevolent Fund and Orphanages of the National Union of Teachers. Opened by Princess Christian of Schleswig Holstein. Includes pictures of Princess Christian, Countess Cowper and Lady French. Gives details of the Benevolent Fund, list of patrons and Bazaar committees. Shakespearian plays were represented by stalls selling different types of goods with characters represented. Brochure contains advertising for Bedford retailers.
