Uneasy about Lady Margaret. Medical cures. The North Briton: "In this place I never hear a word upon the subject, and indeed to say the truth the people in general of Lincoln have the least curiosity for anything out of their own circle that ever I met with, their ideas in general being chiefly confined to 3 things, eating, going to church, and card-playing"; but some exceptions, and some few very agreeable, "I would not have this account of them transpire for the world."
