Sorry for Jemima's headache. Harvest. Lady Mary's rides probably at a standstill, roads dirty. "I will suppose (if it can be supposed) that Wrest has lost much of its beauty, that the garden grows damp and the leaves lose their verdure, because I find it will not be in my power to visit you"; will come to Wimpole next month. Last week great fatigue, no end; has repented 100 times that she did not remain quietly in Bloomsbury Square, specially as new pavement is begun in Russell Street and every house in Square washing its face. Supposes Jemima engrosses Bell's correspondence.
