Melancholy event, (apparently Lady Essex in childbirth). Glad family getting well again, "you have all religion and good sense to support the misfortune that is unavoidable, and I hope business will also assist Mr Yorke to get the better of it". Lady Anson wrote full particulars of Lady Amabel's illness; "I hardly knew myself my dear Lady Grey how much I loved you till I knew and thought of the distress you was in".
