    1) Matthew Hartwell, Northall, Edlesborough, Buckinghamshire, miller 2) William Perry, Sewell, Houghton Regis, husbandman DEED POLL being a Conveyance (bargain, sale and feoffment) by 1) to 2) for £36 of - 4 acres arable in Robins Field in Edlesborough, Buckinghamshire: - 3 and half acres lie together on the Holtepiece in Dotts Downe and Joanes Furlong lying next to land of John Halsey esquire north and land of Bartholomew Baldwin gentleman deceased south, abutting east on Brednam furlong - half acre lies in the said Bradnam furlong next to John Smyth esquire south, abutting east on the brook there which land Matthew Hartwell late purchased (with other land) from one Richard Brugis of Edlesborough, gentleman and his wife Frances, by deed dated 19 October 1652, of which Richard Brugis has purchased one half acre from Richard Denby of Northall, Edlesborough, yeoman and Susan his wife; and Richard Brugis had received the residue under the will dated 13 June 1647 of his father Henry Brugis late of Edlesborough, gentleman deceased Covenant against claims by Mary wife of Matthew Hartwell, by the heirs of Richard and Henry Brugis, and by Thomas Brugis brother of Richard, and by Frances Brugis widow, mother of Richard; and against the heirs of Richard Denbye and of Susan his now wife mark of Matthew Hartwell witness to livery of seisin: mark of Phillip Perry, mark of Thomas Howes, William Edge scrivener
