    “As to Lot 3” MORTGAGE (Demise 1000 years) by 1) William Tompkins, Eaton Bray, Cordwainer, eldest son and devisee in fee named in will of Thomas Tompkins then late of Eaton Bray, cordwainer, deceased, who was the eldest brother and heir at law of Daniel Tompkins late of Eaton Bray, Cordwainer, and intestate, deceased to 2) William Pratt, Edlesborough, Buckinghamshire, yeoman Reciting will of Thomas Tompkins dated 7 June 1814 giving to 1) his eldest son all freehold and copyhold estates in Eaton Bray and Totternhoe Reciting death of Thomas Tompkins Reciting that William Tompkins has need of £150 Mortgage (demise 1000 years) by 1) to 2) - all those closes and pieces or parcels of meadow and sweard in the meadows of Eaton Bray and Totternhoe, including, amongst others - one half acre lying in Totternhoe Fen Mead next to ground of Lord of the Manor on the east part - 1 rood in same mead land once William Herbert then Thomas Pratt west and next to land once in occupation of Daniel Pollard then John Stonhill east and abutting north on brook 23 Nov 1819 1) William Tompkins as above 2) William Pratt as above Reciting above, and that William Tompkins had contracted to sell to William Pratt above property with two other pieces of land for £181 CONVEYANCE by 1) to 2) of - half acre in Totternhoe Fen Mead ground of Lord of Manor on east and west parts - one rood in same mead next to land heretofore of William Herberts then or late Thomas Pratt then Hannah Pratt west and next to land heretofore in occupation of Daniel Pollard then John Stonhill then John Pratt east, abutting north on brook 7 & 8 October 1836 WILL of William Pratt devising to son Thomas Pratt - piece or pieces of land which he lately purchased of William Tompkins of Eaton Bray lying dispersedly in the several farms of Totternhoe and Eaton Bray that is to say four pieces by estimation one acre and three roods in the Totternhoe farm, and two pieces amounting to four acres in the Eaton Bray farm, and also the piece of sweard lying in that part of the commonable place of Eaton Bray called Eaton Hassacks Sons and friends William Pratt, Thomas Pratt, William Twidell and Joseph Mead executors 12 December 1836 RELEASE 1) William Pratt, Totternhoe, farmer, eldest son and heir at law of William Pratt the testator, and brother of Thomas Pratt 2) Thomas Pratt of Billington, Bedfordshire, farmer, brother of 1) Reciting probate of will of William Pratt on 21 April 1841, and some questions as to clauses in the will RELEASE by 1) to 2) of premises 24 December 1853 1) Thomas Pratt and Sarah his wife 2) George Pratt, Berkhamstead Common, Hertfordshire, farmer 3) Robert Hedges being CONVEYANCE (as above) 1 April 1854
