Wishes he were stronger, would gladly go with him to Spa if that would help, though would not choose it for own amusement. Also expense "the expenses of the farm (about £300) do not make this just the most convenient summer for going abroad." Bills come from Scotland which he did not think he would have to pay. Turnpike bill "it did seem to be a most violent St Albans job, but if we can get our meetings at Silsoe... it may do pretty well." Foreign affairs.
