- Scope and Content1) Frances Stratton, Totternhoe, single woman, a daughter and coheir of Thomas Stratton and Mary his wife late of Totternhoe, deceased. 2) William Kinge, Sewell, Houghton Regis, son and heir of Robert King by wife Agnes, who was the other daughter and coheir of Thomas and Mary Stratton Reciting that Thomas and Mary Stratton had, for the life of the survivor - a cottage or tenement called Gentle Coates (since divided into 2 dwelling tenements) with appurtenances in Eaton and Totternhoe - a close of one acre adjoining the cottage - 2 sundry leys of pasture ground - 4 acres arable in Totternhoe or Eaton which after the death of Thomas and Mary descended to 1) and 2) DEED OF PARTITION 1) is to have: - the tenement where she now dwells with the barn containing 2 bays, now in the tenure of John Avery and adjoining to the east end of the tenement wherein John Avery now dwells - a half of the yard next her tenement - half of the close adjoining her tenement, the land of Robert Robins on the east - half of the ley in Pinks, the upper part thereof, adjoining to her part of the close, the land of Robert Robins east - half of the acre in the West Field abutting west on the headland of Mr Buckmaster, land late of Ralph Cook north - half of the ley in Church Meadow and half the balk adjacent the ley abutting on Orchard Piece, land of William Hobbes south - half of the half acre in Horshamill Field, abutting south on the headland of Mr Mychell, land of Mr Ashwell west - half acre in Langfurlong Field, abutting south into Wellhead Way, land of Thomas Vies east - half acre in Quarry Field in Sharrwell furlong abutting west on land of Mr Ashwell, and with land late of Joseph Peddar east. 2) is to have: - the other tenement where John Avery now lives - the other moiety of the yard adjoining that tenement - the other moiety of the close, with the land of Mr Ashwell west - half of the ley in Pinks, the lower end abutting on Pinks Brook - the other half acre in West Field, land of John Groome east - the other half of the ley in Church Mead - other half of the balk adjoining the ley of Henry Hobbes north - other half of the half acre in Horshamill Field, Michael Mouse east - half acre in Dunstable Hill in Langfurlong Field abutting west on headland of Mr Mychell, land of John Robins east - half acre in Carters furlong, abutting north into Drovers Way, land of Mr Mychell west - half acre in Ditchlonge abutting into Moore Lane, land of William Collins east Agreement to enter into each other’s property for repairs, and for sharing rents and services due to Lord of Manor.
