Printed terms and conditions for Insurance Policy No. 923082 [catalogue reference Z180/46] from Sun Fire Office issued to Ann Wortham of Royston by agent W Cherry of Hertford. The printed proposals are dated by Sun Fire Office as at 5th January 1816 and represent the general terms from the "SUN-FIRE-OFFICE, Cornhill, near the Royal-Exchange, and at Craig's Court, Charing Cross. This Office, which was established in 1710, insures against Loss or Damge by Fire, in GREAT BRITAIN and IRELAND, all Descriptions of Buildings, including Mills and Manufactories, and the Goods, Wares and Merchandize in the same; Ships in Harbour, or in Dock; Craft on Navigable Rivers and Canals; and the Goods Laden on the same; Waggons travelling the Roads, and their Contents; and Farming-Stock of all Descriptions".
