Insurance Policy No. 306505 from Sun Fire Office issued to Hale Wortham, gentleman, of Royston, Hertfordshire on 6th January 1772.
Policy covers: his timber and tiled house at Sharpnoe End in Barley in the tenure of James Rayner, farmer; a separate wheat barn; cart shed, cowhouses and barley barn in one building; a barn in Royston; and a separate hogsty; all properties timber and thatched except as stated otherwise.
Policy cost £1 4s annually due on 25 December each year.
