    Insurance Policy No. 1372726 from Sun Fire Office initially issued to Thomas Wortham, gentleman, of Royston, Hertfordshire on 13 January 1842, in relation to a property known as White Hall in Royston, Hertfordshire. Policy covers: a brick, timber and tiled house in the tenure of William Clark, baker, with an oven therein; a brick, timber and tiled house with adjoining barns, shops and stables in the tenure of Alfred Soames, currier; a timber and tiled Malting Office and kiln where no brown malt is made in the tenure of William White. The policy is warranted that said kiln is to be used for the drying of grain only. Policy cost £1 16s annually due on 25 December each year.
