Scope and Content
Reciting previous settlement of his lands in Chicksands, Hawnes and Dean to Sir Thomas Payton, Sir Thomas Hatton, Samuel Browne, sergeant-at-law and sons Henry and Robert Osborn, which settlement he now confirms
Further reciting that hangings in the hall and dining room at Chicksands and the bedchamber next to the dining room and 2 pictures belonging to his grandfather in the library are to be kept as heirlooms
Further reciting that mourning is appointed to wife, children, Sir Thomas Payton, Sir Thomas Hatton, Serjeant Browne, Thomas Deereham and John Keelinge and “to such of my servants as my Executors shall think fitt”
To Sir Thomas Payton, Sir Thomas Hatton and Serjeant Browne
- a piece of plate to each of them, £10 in value
To servant Ralph Compton:
- £10 “as a remembrance of his faithful service”
To servant Robert Darly:

To the poor of Campton:

Further reciting that a “Monument of plane marble stone” may be set up at Campton for father and mother and another for self and wife
