Born 17 January 1729, died 24 March 1780. Married 21 November 1748 John Egerton (eldest son of Henry Egerton, Bishop of Hereford and of Elizabeth Bentinck, daughter of Earl Portland); he was Bishop of Bangor, 1756-68; Lichfield, 1768-71; Durham, 1771-1787 until he died in 1787. Their 2nd but 1st surviving son, John William was born 1753, entered army 1771, and in 1803 succeeded cousin as 7th Earl Bridgwater. He married Charlotte Catherine Anne, daughter of Samuel Haynes, in 1783. Anne Sophia and John Egerton's daughter Amelie married Sir Abraham Hume. They also had another daughter Ariana Margaret. Many letters undated, and order provisional. Health; young Gregorys: daughter Amelie; Miss Talbot and Lady Mary Forbes; visits from Bell and Polwarth (when at Auckland).
