    i) Daniel Snowe, gentleman, of London ii) Peter Osborne, esquire and son of John both of London DEMISE for 500 years for rents of £7 4s 9½d and £3 16s 8d per annum by i) to ii) - Hawnes Grange with appurtenances, messuage and lands, lately demised to William Kympton, late in occupation of Chicksands Priory, Bedfordshire - Wood called Oxleys, and meadow in Hawnes - tenement in the occupation of William Arden - all tithes arising from Hawnes Grange and lands - lands lying in West field of Hawnes called ‘Stocking’ - 3 parcels of land called Graunge Meade alias Potters and Ryplers - messuage called Parsonage Farm late owned Chicksands Priory - Hawnes Rectory, Advowson and glebe, tithes and all lands (except Humfreys Wood and Aufernay Wood [49 acres]) [as in O/3] [lately demised to William Kympton, William Arden and John Waller] Witnesses: William Clerke; Anthony Higgons 23 October 1576
