As I am away from my division it takes so long to get the necessary particulars through for special leave have just made further inquiries as to when it will come through it may be Sunday that means it will be Wednesday before I could possibly get home. Dear Emma I hope you are well, bear up dear and don’t think too much. I trust dear that he has joined your Mother, be comforted, knowing that his wordly pains are over and ha has passed beyond. I am doing my best to come to comfort you, though it may take days”. “The parcel has not arrived as yet hopes it comes today must close now as its dinner time 8 p.m. with fondest love to all”.
