Scope and Content
Black and white postcard of a photograph of the R37 and R38 airships under construction in Cardington Shed No 1, portrait orientation. The R38, which in this photograph is covered, was the only one to fly. The R37, 95% of whom's steel superstructure had been constructed, was ordered to be stored in 1921 and was dismantled in 1924. Postcard is unused, untitled and by unknown publisher.
