Turvey church looking northwest towards the church from Carlton Road. On the right hand side from the lych-gate, there is a stone wall with a decorative gate, which is the drive entrance to Chantry House. On the left hand side of the photograph from the lych gate is the entrance to Turvey House. The south side of the church is covered with Ivy or a similar climbing plant. The trees are quite bare of leaves, so photograph was taken in winter. The half tone postcard was photographed by Knight Printer, Olney. Postally used 5 April 1904. Card sent to Miss Laura Hooke, Canonbury N. Message written on the front of the card reads "Dear L very busy today, hope to see you tonight. Albert"
