    including letter from C T and George Powers imagined Edmund Powers not trustee incapable last 2-3 years take this as a resignation 28 Mar 1883 letter George W Powers Consents to H E Powers (brother) as new trustee 25 Apr 1883 similar ones from sister (black border to letter) E K Powers at Tickhill, Yorkshire, and from A C Powers, Wellington, New Zealand “everything is very quiet, Parliament is sitting and I think you would laugh if you heard some of them try to speak”. sorry to hear of illness of Aunt and Uncle (presumably Edmund Power) 14 Jul 1883 letter from Norman H Matthews of Tickhill, Yorkshire to Hooper and Company protesting at £15..10s, part of £93 costs of applying for appointment of new trustee over which she E K Powers was not consulted 5 Apr 1884 same to same T J Hooper considered last letter, offer our apologies – do not every give the smallest answer to question E K Powers prepared to pay £15 out of half yearly payments. first she thought brother in England was being appointed now hears it is “brother in Australia” (sic) 17 Apr 1884
