    Recites: endorsement of same date on Indenture of Mortgage 16 March 4 James II [1688] (i)Charles Halford of Stamford, Lincolnshire esquire and wife Frances, sole executrix of Daniel Wigmore late of Stamford aforesaid esquire deceased (ii)Sarah Robinson of Farmingwood aforesaid, spinster, in consideration of marriage between ii) and John Gore esquire, son and heir apparent of Sir Humphrey Gore and for transferring to Sir Humphrey Gore £1,000 principal money due to (ii), (ii) assigned to Sir Humphrey Gore all right in -river of Welland, Lincolnshire and tolls arising -tolls of fairs and markets in Spalding, Lincolnshire Recites: endorsement, same date as presents on Indenture of Mortgage 3 December 4 James II [1688] I) Sir William Halford of Welham, Leicestershire, knight and son and heir of Sir William Halford late of the same, knight deceased II) Sarah Robinson in consideration of marriage by said endorsement II) assigns to Sir Humphrey Gore £600 principal and interest, being £780 Recites: endorsement of even date with presents on Indenture 11 January 4 James II [sic- ?1688/9] (I) Charles Halford and wife Frances (II) Sarah Robinson for better securing said £600 (II) assigns to Sir Humphrey Gore -interest in aforesaid river Welland and fair and market tolls Now: i) covenants to pay ii) at common dining hall of Grays Inn, Middlesex £1,600 on 27 November next with interest at 5% per annum in which case ii) will convey said premises to i) Signature: ii) Witnesses: William Busby, William Whitwell, St.Bramston
